365 days in the year and they chose January 6
I will pass on this one:
Hey! The . . .
The Intelligencer shows more disdain for its readers: today's lead editorial is the same editorial that was published last Wednesday
Hey, but it takes-up space (and that's apparently all that matters)
In fairness to the editor, the first sentences was changed but the rest of today's lead editorial, "Help Hospitals Weather Storm," is exactly the same as last Wednesday's lead editorial, "Hospitals Face New Surge of Patients."
This is not an isolated incidence -- it is the third time in the last four . . .
The Wheeling Intelligencer continues to shill for Congressman David McKinley’s campaign
Today’s paper include a rewrite of a McKinley press release and their political reporter’s coverage of “a document being circulated”
A McKinley press release posing as news
Today’s Wheeling Intelligencer continues its efforts to help David McKinley secure the Republican nomination in West Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District with this front-page article:
McKinley Wants to Revive National Coal Council
In the article’s first sentence, . . .
It's simple: fight efforts to control the virus and then blame Biden for what happens
The Republican covid strategy continues

From the New York Times on December 31:
While Republican state officials continue to fight efforts to control the virus
As earlier COVID-19 vaccine mandate lawsuits get their day before the U.S. Supreme Court in two weeks, West Virginia Attorney General . . .

The front page of yesterday's Wheeling Intelligencer featured Congressman David McKinley defending himself against accusations made in a political ad from his Republican primary opponent, Alex Mooney. (See previous post.) On page 5 of this morning’s Wheeling Intelligencer, you can find this report from Ogden’s political reporter about a . . .
What goes around, comes around
How dare Alex Mooney accuse David McKinley of being a Nancy Pelosi supporter!
McKinley given front-page space to defend himself against his opponent’s political ad
The Alex Mooney/David McKinley race for the nomination in West Virginia’s 2nd congressional district is heating up. Mooney has placed ads in West Virginia media and even some out-of-state media (where at least some of the money is wasted). Here is a . . .
December 23, 2021: The word “principled” is stripped of all meaning
Today’s Wheeling Intelligencer editorial on Senator Joe Manchin: “A Principled Man in the Senate”
From the editorial:
Manchin has been able to resist enormous pressure through this process precisely because he answers to West Virginians, and he knows it.
I'm curious. Does he answer all West Virginians or only those with whom he gets money from or agrees?
What about the Intelligencer and the . . .
