Color me doubtful, but I doubt we’ll soon see a Wheeling Intelligencer front-page interview with Alex Mooney explaining the unfairness of David McKinley’s most recent commercial
The front page of yesterday's Wheeling Intelligencer featured Congressman David McKinley defending himself against accusations made in a political ad from his Republican primary opponent, Alex Mooney. (See previous post.) On page 5 of this morning’s Wheeling Intelligencer, you can find this report from Ogden’s political reporter about a McKinley ad attacking Mooney:
Taking his turn to launch TV ads, Congressman David McKinley is reminding voters of Congressman Alex Mooney’s ethics investigation, while Mooney is threatening stations that run the ad. https://t.co/K546XUuJ0i pic.twitter.com/iEBAQZNgTf

Here is the ad (Unlike the anti-McKinley ad, I have not seen it on any of our local channels):
I’m a bit surprised that McKinley is attacking Mooney’s ethics violations given his own not-so-virginal past. Hmmm. It may be time for a compare and contrast post on how the Intelligencer has covered Mooney’s and McKinley’s ethical lapses.
