The Wheeling Alternative
What has Senator Joe been doing?
For starters, he’s been sounding a lot like a Republican
Today
West Virginia’s Democratic senator, Jo Manchin, was on CBS Face the Nation earlier today. Among other questions, he was asked about his own personal aspirations and whether he would endorse Biden:
Asked if he would endorse President Biden for reelection, @Sen_JoeManchin says, "Let's see who all the players are."
And on his . . .

Good-bye, Dilbert
Has our local Ogden newspaper done the right thing, has it joined “cancel culture”, or is there another reason why the strip is not in this morning’s newspaper?
After reading about Scott Adams’ racist outburst this weekend, I looked for his comic strip, Dilbert, in the morning Wheeling Intelligencer. There was no Dilbert. The comic strip is no longer on the comic page of the Wheeling Intelligencer or any other Ogden newspapers. The chain, like hundreds of newspapers nationwide, no longer carries . . .

With ONLY 15 months left until the WV primary, the Republican race for the U.S. Senate nomination is heating up
Alex Mooney is already attacking Jim Justice and WV media, remembering the income generated from the McKinley-Mooney contest, want to know “when will the attack ads begin?”
Earlier today, from Alex Mooney:
Big RINO Jim Justice can’t win a truly contested Republican primary. He’s a big supporter of Biden’s $1.2 trillion non-infrastructure bill and proposed the largest tax increase in the history of WV.
