The Republican response to President Biden’s State of the Union speech was given by Senator Katie Britt of Alabama. In the speech, Britt lied to the American public about the results of Biden’s border policies and it was quickly called out by mainstream media:

Senator Katie Britt deliberately tried to blame President Biden for an attack that happened under George W. Bush, and didn't even happen in the United States -- it happened in Mexico.

She tried to weaponize that woman's pain.

So how did WV Senator Shelley Moore Capito react to Britt’s lies? This afternoon, acting as if none of this ever happened, Capito praised Britt’s speech:

I guess last month when Capito sold her soul to Donald Trump she agreed to give up whatever integrity she had left. Of course, Capito knows she’s safe -- no West Virginia media source will ever ask her about this.
