Haven't West Virginians suffered enough with its present Supreme Court?
Apparently not -- Evan Jenkins is looking to run
According to WV MetroNews earlier today:
West Virginia Third District Congressman Evan Jenkins told MetroNews Thursday he’s “seriously considering” a run for state Supreme Court in the November General Election.
Jenkins, whose second two-year term in the U.S. House ends later this year, would seek the seat that’s coming up following the resignation/retirement of Justice Menis Ketchum. That retirement took effect last Friday.
Today I met with Evan Jenkins, and he told me he is considering running for the West Virginia Supreme Court. We need people with honesty and integrity to restore trust to the Court! #WV #WVGov pic.twitter.com/7A5bm6OP4a

Honesty and integrity? Are you talking Evan Jenkins, whose campaign photoshopped an image of his opponent to make it appear that he was congratulating Hillary Clinton?
A reaction from our local House of Delegates representative, Shawn Fluharty:
The fact that @WVGovernor is out there making public posts endorsing partisan current office holding candidates like Jenkins for SC is further evidence the fix is in. Our entire state is being played like a drum. #wvpol

Hey, Evan. How's your effort to give the Nobel Peace Prize to Donald Trump coming along?
