What has West Virginia's Attorney General been doing lately?
Yes, Mr. AG, we need to oppose the lunatics who encourage violence
From Wednesday:
We should penalize those who breached the Capitol and broke our laws today to the fullest extent possible.

We are a Republic and must oppose the lunatics who resort to violence to achieve their ends.
Focus, people. What happened today is not okay on any level.
And as numerous media reports suggested, it was not as if the violence was unexpected. For example, from USA Today:
Thousands of President Donald Trump's supporters and other rioters who stormed the Capitol on Wednesday as Congress prepared to formally declare Joe Biden president fomented the violence and chaos in the days leading up to the protest.
Violent rhetoric including threats against elected officials and police officers flooded all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Google's YouTube, not just online forums popular with extremists.
“We are seeing significant volumes of rhetoric online,” Daniel Jones, president of Advance Democracy, told USA TODAY. “And we’re seeing this rhetoric – fueled by President Trump’s voter fraud claims – across all social media platforms.”
Since we knew about the potential for violence ahead-of-time, perhaps we should go after those who encouraged the rally? From NBC News, yesterday:
An arm of the Republican Attorneys General Association, a national group representing the top law enforcement officers in their states, sent out robocalls encouraging people to march to the U.S. Capitol the day before the building was stormed by a pro-Trump mob.
“At 1 p.m., we will march to the Capitol building and call on Congress to stop the steal,” said the voice on the recording, which was obtained by NBC News.
The calls, which did not advocate violence or suggest the building should be breached, was sent out by the Rule of Law Defense Fund, a fundraising arm of the Republican Attorneys General Association. The groups share funding, staff and office space in Washington, D.C.
Asking for a friend: don’t you play a prominent role in this group, Patrick?
"We are vulnerable to attack"? Mr. Attorney General, I believe President Trump sent that message long ago
Let’s just send a message to our enemies that we are vulnerable to attack, shall we?

Pelosi playing with our national security. Talk about irresponsible — these aren’t things you say. https://t.co/CvHRbT70Be
