Three months ago, WV2’s congressional representative, Riley Moore, introduced legislation to ban Chinese students from America’s colleges and universities:

Since then, Moore and his bill have garnered considerable statewide and national attention. For example, here is Moore appearing two weeks ago on Fox News:

Unfortunately for Moore, such dedication matters little to President Trump, whose only concern has always been to make himself look good. From the president, earlier today:

Yeah, in addition to Trump rendering Moore’s proposed legislation dead-on-arrival, he then rubbed salt into the wound by noting parenthetically that allowing Chinese students to use American universities “has always been good with me!”
