West Virginians still support Trump
A 60% approval rating (2nd highest in the nation)
West Virginia still has the 2nd highest approval rating for Trump among the states according to the Morning Consult’s monthly poll released yesterday. 60% of West Virginians approve while 33% disapprove. Wyoming was first at 63% and Alabama was third at 58%. Trump’s lowest approval rating was in Washington D.C. with 16% followed by Vermont at 31%.
The 60% approval in West Virginia is down only slightly from the 62% approval at the start of his presidency. However, Trump’s disapproval rating in West Virginia has jumped to 36% from 25% two years ago.
