The Good
The front page of this morning’s Wheeling Intelligencer featured an article about local antisemitism training hosted yesterday at Wheeling’s Temple Shalom by United States Attorneys William Ihlenheld and the FBI’s Will Thompson:
FBI: No Tip Is Too Small in Preventing Violence
The article explained what law enforcement and local citizens can do to combat anti-semitism. The article was thorough and timely.
The Old
On the editorial page, however, the Intelligencer dug up a six-week-old Ohio editorial from Ogden’s Warren, Ohio paper on a high school football team’s use of the word “Nazi” in play calling. The editorial was not brought up to date (among other details, the coach did not willingly resign). Nor did it explain why this six-week-old Ohio editorial was relevant to our local audience. (The usual treatment of an Ohio editorial.) It did take up space, however.
The Bad
The weekend paper featured this editorial cartoon from Town Hall’s Chip Bok:

Obviously, the News-Register has ignored (or more likely chosen to ignore) the news. Here's the first twelve sources in a recent search.
(Notice -- even Fox News covered Biden's efforts.)
