CPAC, Trump sneakers, Stuart’s razor wire bill, and a look at how Mac Warner’s is using the secretary of state’s office

I am a bit surprised that Riley Moore didn’t get a chance to speak.
Trump’s “cool” sneakers
Very white guy tells Fox viewers how Trump’a sneakers will increase his following with black Americans:
Meanwhile on Fox News:

"The sneaker thing, this is connecting with black America because they love sneakers! This is a big deal, certainly in the inner city. When you have Trump roll out his sneaker line, they're like, 'wait a minute, this is cool!'" pic.twitter.com/CtbL8qVnvX
Trump then followed-up:

It's certainly a different approach to reaching out to black voters.
Charleston Gazette-Mail columnist, Phil Kabler, on Mike Stuart’s resolution supporting Texas razor wire at the border
From Kabler’s column earlier today:
The lead sponsor of the Senate resolution, Sen. Mike Stuart, R-Kanawha, not only also is lead sponsor of a bill directing $25,000 of state funds to Texas for the installation of additional razor wire, but touted his proposal on Twitter using a photo of a woman and child in harm’s way attempting to get past a razor wire fence.
How sick and twisted does one have to be to not only revel in the possibility of women and children being maimed and killed, but to advocate policy to increase the likelihood that such injuries and deaths occur? And this guy wants to be our Attorney General.
As the saying goes, the cruelty is the point.
Mac Warner uses the WV Secretary of State’s office to campaign for governor
Fresh from being booed by his counterpart in other states, Warner is currently using the official WV Secretary of State’s site to fear-monger about illegal aliens voting in the upcoming elections:
In the article, he explains his title:
There is little doubt that those illegal aliens will have opportunities to illegally register to vote and tip the balance of purple districts in favor of one party’s candidates.
But does Warner, who is running for governor, offer any proof that illegals voted in the 2022 elections? (He is, after all, a secretary of state and he did just return from their national meeting.) No, because there is no evidence that it happened. Does he offer any proof that illegals will vote later this year? No, because we have safeguards. Evidence be damned, this is all about his run for the Republican governor nomination and Warner is using the state's official site to do it. (Note – I was a bit surprised that there was not a Hunter Biden reference in the article.)
