Some comments on last night's WV Republican gubernatorial debate
(A confession: I did not watch last evening’s Republican gubernatorial debate - I knew that I would be watching the Pittsburgh Steelers later and that would be more than enough masochism for one evening.)

Patrick Morrisey doing his best Trump imitation
- Poll-leader Morrisey did not attend the debate.
- Morrisey, instead, will give an “exclusive interview” to another news source:

“Too often today we see the media taking sides in political debates, playing favorites and yielding outsized influence in our elections. West Virginia voters deserve to hear directly from candidates.” —… pic.twitter.com/aHJAIGTb3I
Does Morrisey have any self-awareness? He complains about the media “taking sides” and "playing favorites" as he does an exclusive interview with HD media.
Is Mac Warner angling to be named president of WVU?

“Yes, the [2020] election was stolen Hoppy … It was stolen by the CIA.”
Intelligencer coverage
This morning's Wheeling Intelligencer had no coverage of last night’s Republican gubernatorial debate. It did, however, have room for more front-page coverage (of course, with picture) of West Virginia’s state treasurer, Ogden favorite, and congressional candidate, Riley Moore, simply doing his job:
My hunch is that Steven Allen Adams’s coverage of the debate will appear this weekend.
