I’ve been either away or busy for the last week. Today, I decided to catch-up with what the state’s Trump Party has been doing.

Yesterday, I watched part of the coverage of the Donald Trump trial. Among other things, I learned how Donald Trump and the editor of the National Enquirer, David Pecker, made up stories about Ted Cruz, his wife, and his father who supposedly took part in the Kennedy assassination:

I personally think that Ted Cruz is a weasel who will say or do anything to further his causes. In the past, despite all that Trump has said about his family, this carnivorous mammal has run and hid whenever Trump threatened him. This time, I thought, since the Enquirer’s editor had admitted they were lying, Cruz would certainly express his outrage and correct the record. Here, however, was Cruz’s response:

The MAGA WV governor’s race

Is it just me or is the transgender issue the only issue for gubernatorial candidates Chris Miller and Patrick Morrisey. If you watch WV television, you’ve probably seen their ads -- they contain little truth and a lot of garbage. And it is not just the content that is offensive, it is also the delivery: juvenile, arrogant and smarmy. As their ads demonstrate, Miller and Morrisey are pathetic candidates that have no vision; their campaigns would be laughed at if they took place on an elementary school playground.

Additionally, WV’s governor, Jim Justice, has endorsed Moore Capito which led another gubernatorial candidate, Mac Warner, to a new conspiracy theory:

(Larry Puccio has served in a number of state Democratic positions including Party Chair.) I have tried to write a short synopsis of the article but found Warner’s logic defies easy summarization. Warner also uses words and phrases like “cabal” and “puppet master” and includes references to Sun Tzu and Machiavelli. So far, Warner’s article has not hit what might be considered the WV mainstream media but it can be found here, here and on his Facebook page. Yes, it's another Warner conspiracy theory. It did not mention Hunter Biden anywhere in the article, however.
