Hey, Alex, it’s January 4th and the Republicans still haven’t taken control

Congressman: I did tune in but nothing happened:

A quick recap of my week in Washington.

I voted NO on the $1.7 trillion omnibus that included wasteful spending and failed to secure our border.

By the way, Mooney told Metro News earlier today: “I’d like to vote for Jim [Jordan], but Jim’s supporting Kevin.”

Republicans did prioritize what needed to be done, however

Of course, some Republicans never followed the rules anyway (from 2021):

I did. Doing away with the Office of Congressional Ethics is another Republican priority:

Judging by what Mooney has pinned to the top of his Twitter page for the last month, it’s returning the United States to the gold standard, of course:
