Hypocrisy is not confined to Republican senators
Our local papers can certainly relate to "failed leadership"
Iowa’s Republican senator, Joni Ernst, was on CNN earlier today:

But what about our Wheeling "newspapers"?
Not surprisingly, since Obama was president at the time of the Ebola outbreak in 2014, our local papers regularly attacked him editorially. For instance, from an editorial in October of 2014:
In what may be the most irresponsible act of his tenure, President Barack Obama has appointed a political hack to lead the fight against Ebola. Thoughtful Americans of all political persuasions may conclude Obama is more worried about his reputation than about saving lives.
And a week later:
President Barack Obama made it clear Tuesday that he bases many critical decisions on one type of science – political science.
