How about Pope Felonius I?
Some reporter needs to ask our congressman about this
If you follow WV2 Congressman Riley Moore on X or other social media, you are probably aware that our local congressman frequently posts (and boasts) about his devotion to Catholicism. Yesterday, for example, Moore posted Bishop Robert Barron’s prayer on the National Day of Prayer ceremony at the White House:
Friends, yesterday, I had the extraordinary opportunity of delivering a prayer in the Rose Garden of the White House. What follows is the text of that invocation, which was offered in the presence of the president and other government leaders to mark the National Day of Prayer.… pic.twitter.com/7z2VrsY6qS

(By the way, Bishop Barron was Moore’s special guest at Trump’s State of the Union Address.)
Additionally, Moore sees himself as a defender of his faith, quick to criticize any Democrat for what he perceives as any offense to that faith.
So yesterday evening, on National Prayer Day, President Donald Trump published the following:

When I first saw the post, I assumed that it was an AI-created joke in response to what Trump said about becoming Pope a few days ago:
“I’d like to be Pope,” Trump told reporters outside the White House on April 30, when he was asked about the next Pontiff. “That would be my number one choice.”
I checked -- it isn't a joke.
Back to Riley Moore: our new congressman has not held a town hall. I, as one of his constituents, would like to know, given his numerous posts on Catholicism, where our congressman stands on Trump's post and whether he would feel the same way if a Democrat were to do something similar. (I don't think it will happen, but I will post any response by Moore.)
