Hey, Joe Manchin, here’s what WV’s newly elected congressman thinks about your “working across the aisle” mantra
Yesterday, CNN invited a couple of newly elected representatives for its morning talk show “State of the Union with Jake Tapper.” Among other questions, the host wanted to know from the new members about their willingness to work with the other party. WV2’s Riley Moore was among those invited, and he quickly demonstrated the mean-spiritedness and unwillingness to compromise that has come to dominate WV’s Trump Party:
“My constituents have sent me here to this town not to work with Democrats, but to destroy their agenda.”
