This morning's Wheeling Intelligencer features an article on recent statements by the state’s governor, Jim Justice. Almost half of the 438-word article by Ogden’s Jess Mancini are direct quotes from the governor. However, the front-page article ignores the following Justice statements that were picked-up by other media:

West Virginia is saving the world:

(Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't find these tweets to be all that complimentary to the governor. Justice apparently does, he retweeted them.)

Additionally, the Gazette-Mail’s Phil Kabler reports:

Justice says he believes God will defer impacts of global climate change long enough to allow us to continue burning fossil fuels.
