Marshall County among the worst in the state
The numbers continue to worsen across the state. Locally, Marshall County is the worst:
The different color for Ohio County and Marshall County can probably be explained by the percentage vaccinated. In Ohio County, 63% of those over 12 have had at least one shot compared to Marshall County's 46%. For those over 65, the number in Ohio is 91% compared to Marshall's 71%.
Who do we blame?
It obviously depends upon whether or not you've had the vaccine:
Some Republican governors are blaming migrants. In particular, Florida's DeSantis:
I guess those hundreds of thousands of covid-infected migrants all came to Florida after they crossed the TX border. Because this couldn’t possibly be Deathsantis’ fault. From @DWUhlfelderLaw pic.twitter.com/B3kEWUUFAU

There is not much evidence to support this thesis as the NY Times link suggests:
Public health experts say there's *no* evidence that migrants are driving the surge in coronavirus cases, as conservatives, like the governors of Florida and Texas, have been claiming. https://t.co/Igi7ZMH0X8
