The Wheeling Alternative
Yes, it’s another editorial telling us how the Wheeling News-Register is “obliged to no individual, organization, political party or ideology"
Readers need only look at the next editorial for evidence to the contrary
Last month it was the Wheeling Intelligencer, this month it is the News-Register -- the anniversary of their founding becomes an excuse for a self-congratulatory editorial. From yesterday’s lead editorial:

Our responsibility is to our . . .
Today's Wheeling Intelligencer editorial tells us to "reject harassment as political tactic"
There's no mention of President Trump's rhetoric in the editorial, however

Here are some excerpts from three recent Wheeling News-Register editorials on Democratic Congressman John Conyers from Michigan:
From the Monday, Nov 27 editorial titled

According to the News-Register:
Using the power conferred upon one by voters to . . .

The local "newspapers"
Wikipedia describes the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) as
a federal agency within the legislative branch of the United States government that provides budget and economic information to Congress.
As it and other sources point out, it's nonpartisan as it reviews the . . .

Our local “newspapers” continue their anti-gun control crusade
Putting words in the mouths of local police officials
As I’ve written on a number of occasions, most newspaper readers read only the headlines and the headline on Tuesday’s front page article tells us:
