Ryan Ferns and "free-publicity-for-our-favorites week"
I noted on Friday that it appeared that our local "newspapers" were celebrating "free-publicity-for-our-favorites week." As of this morning, the papers have covered Capito, McKinley, and Morissey but have ignored their favorite state senator, Ryan Ferns. Breaking news from the front page of today's Intelligencer:
Ohio Gov. John Kasich has named West Virginia Sen. Ryan Ferns to lead grassroots efforts to build support for his 2016 presidential bid in the Mountain State.
Great! Ferns has been a long-time supporter and this should put Kasich over-the-top in West . . .
Ferns for Congress?
A preliminary question:
Is WV State Senator Ryan Ferns trying to look like Adam Levine or Captain Obvious?
.....Ryan Ferns ............... pop star Adam Levine ...... Hotel.com's Captain Obvious
Speaking of Republicans who've been anointed by our local newspaper monopoly (see previous post), . . .
